Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers in developing data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Drive design and architecture for data warehouses and ETL processes using modern cloud technologies.
- Oversee the development of reporting and dashboarding solutions to support business needs.
- Manage resources, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
- Establish standards and methodologies for scalable and efficient data warehousing environments.
- Build high-performance pipelines using tools such as Snowflake, Spark, Kafka, and AWS.
- Translate complex business requirements into sustainable, scalable data solutions.
- Mentor engineers, guide career development, and create a cohesive team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in leadership or management roles.
- Proven experience in hiring, developing, and mentoring technical teams.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong background in dimensional modeling and scalable data architecture.
- Experience in leading performance reviews and setting career development goals for team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building data pipelines and analytics solutions with privacy and regulatory compliance in mind.
- Advanced SQL skills, with proficiency in performance tuning.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and development best practices.
- Experience working with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
